    has anyone heard of tempest, basically computer radiation can be used to form a 3d image of the room the pc is in. i dont want to get all big brother on your ass . but look:

    man there is some good posts today, echelon and now tempest

    bascially its reading electromagnetic radiation from electronic quipment,

    which recently there was french guy who managed to re-create data quite successfully....i'll try and get the link!

    yes that was called "VanEck Shielding and Radiation"

    bascially it worked on CRT monitors at the time, and get this down in new mexico was recorded to have picked up screen captures of other tv's from over a kilometre.

    check this speech out from defcon back in july 1994 at the Sahara Hotel & Casino in las vegas
