Safari 1.2

    Downloaded the new Safari 1.2 and Java 1.4.2 updates from Apple yesterday. The difference when using boards.ie is incredible !

    The menus along the top at last work perfectly and the 5 or 10 second lag when following links on boards is a thing of the past - remarkable !

    I tried Firebird and while it's faster than I.E. and Safari (until now !) it's just far too unstable and seems to crash for no reason whatsoever ! I dislike I.E. because of the popups plus its Micro$oft - spit - !

    Highly recommend the upgrades to anyone using OS X and Safari.

    wow, I'd got so used to using "minimalist" (which worked under old version) that I hadn't noticed the working menus, under the new Safari and Java.
