Possible 17min bug fix

If any of you have the 17 minute bug on your Sky+ box (mainly affects boxes upgraded with a 120Gb hard disc or unmodded ones that have been power cycled a lot)- more details than you could possibly want here http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/showthread.php?s=&threadid=101131&perpage=25&pagenumber=1) you might like to give this fix a try

I don't have this problem but I do have a problem in that sometimes there is a chunk of time used but no programme in the list to correspond with it. ie. When you highlight the last programme recorded there is a chunk of time after the yellow bar on the top that is dimmed, corresponding to a recorded programme. Anyone else have this problem?

Nope, just the bog standard 40Gig that comes with it.

The guys at DigitalSpy seem to be have great success with it so far but it's early days!

Seems that the above fix mightn't work too well - it's been fine for me so far but not for a few people on digitalspy. It seems to me that they like to test any new potential fix by stressing their Sky+ boxes with multiple powercycles etc. - best avoided in my book!
