    it's a rip off...

not only is it ugly but

does it come with a psu.... if it does it's more likely a cheapy one.

if you want a case go to www.elara.ie and have a look there some quality cases there like antec

had a look at that site some of the cases look nice but shipping to irl is about 50 euro

has anyone any experience of these cases ie have you seen them, i actually thought they looked ok :)

but then i am a first timer

any and all help is appreciated.

is there any other site other than elara or peats that are cheap for cases

oh that fashion pc case - what would be a good price for it, if i bargained them down how much would one of you guys pay for it max?

    MAX i'd pay is €40

2 x 80mm fan slots on back.... not bad,
but 2 x 80mm fan slots on front [blocked by front casing - so fu*k all air is getting in]
    .... cr*p

    i got a funky case from xcase.co.uk,
delivery at the time was only €10, but a mate checked it recently and delivery had gone up hugely.

    also check komplett.ie

might be too much money, but, if it was me i'd get a:

Antec Super LANBOY Aluminum Super Mini Tower Case [no psu]
    or
Antec Sonata Piano Black Quiet Case - 380W TruePower Silent PSU

    both on overclockers.co.uk
    the super lanboy looks cool!

never ordered from fashionpcs, but they look kinda like the case i used to have from maplin: the "iCute" they're still selling it me thinks.

    sold it here on boards...

i suppose that all those fashion pc cases are cr^p then, you need to have fan grills only at the back or side?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,218 ✭✭✭davidclayton

its probably the best to get one intake fan at the bottom of the front, and one outake at the top of the back [heat rises]. but the side intake works fine too, sometimes bringing cold air directly to the chip.

hexus do some good reviews, check it out...

[by the way if you want a case, mines on sale... but you'd have to buy the whole PC ;) ]
