since yesterday we're getting the "no satellite signal being received" on Film Four, Film Four +1, Film Four Weekly and a handful of other minor channels

rang Sky last night who said they "would re-send signals"
    no joy

rang them again this evenming, tried the re-set stuff etc and no joy. They say it's a dish problem.
Engineer booked for 9 days time - FEB 12 - and another day has to be taken off work:( :(

already had a engineer out on Jan 9 after we lost all signals

this is a pain in the arse - any tips?

should we move the dish back and forth ourselves or do we risk losing all channels?

wonder why it only affects a few channels and not the lot though?

most likely because the problem is only affecting one or two transponders, take a look on www.lyngsat.com and see if you can isolate a specific frequency or frequencies.
