howdy all, i am using some programs that need me to open certain ports with my netopia 3341 so i set up pinholes but is that the same as port forwarding? because i am still getting very poor pings and download speeds with these programs. Is port forwarding like a more advanced or direct pinhole? if so i'd be really grateful if someone could give me a pointer on how to set that up.
If it makes any difference i do not have a static ip address.
