Sky phone number?

Can anyone tell me the phone number for sky? I tried the 1800 number on services/numbers but there is a message saying the number has changed and you now have to ring a UK number? Is that correct? WTF we now have to ring uk to add/cancel channels? I tried the 0044 number but it doesn't connect.

The number is an Irish one, charged at the national rate.
