sledge hammer

    One of the memories from my youth that i have never forgotten is the very first episode of sledge hammer. (bit sketchy on this bit) Sledge hammer is driving to work and the road is blocked by the cops because their is a sniper on top of a building (this is the bit i can't forget) Sledge hammer wanders to the boot of his car and takes out a rocket launcher and proceds to blow up the building, then as he walks past the cops back to his car he says "i think i got him". Pure cheese, but good cheese.
    Anyone else got memories like this? were you can rembember only bits of the show, without any idea of what the main characters are like. Just a small collection of images.

    Anyway i was trying to find a site where i could buy the series on dvd, unfortunatly not out on dvd :( is on vhs but so far no one i can find has it in stock and probally havent had it in stock for the last 10 years. Does anyone know where i could order it form or barring that somewhere i could download the first episode or even just the first 5 - 10 min of it.

    I know a guy in England who is selling all 46 episodes on videos for €90 all in, I've lost the link to his site, but I still have his email addy if interested ?
    Not strictly legal ;), so I wont post any details here.

    Apparently it's out on R1 DVD sometime this year. No real info but here's a link to some comments. When it happens you'll probably find out about it here

    it seems they have been planning this dvd for over 6 months and still have no date for release, could be any time this year or even next year. I'v waited for what maybe 13 years i think i can wait a bit longer to get the DVD version. Thanks for info everyone and the quote.
