I'm not a huge fan of the show but seeing Rocket Romano go out like that last night was brutal.

He really should have thought a career change after the first helicopter accident

I doubt they can rebuild him this time - great ep, shame they wrote one of the best characters out.

    Peace to you Rocket!

Seen some of it last nite but have to admit a little bit far fetched. I mean what poor guy loses his arm and then his life by a helicopter. I used to love ER and they do still have the good here and there but come on people, Helicopters fallin from the sky, Small pox breakouts, doctors 'Accidentally' killing people, etc.

He was a great character. Funny as hell, master of the caustic comeback.
I hope he gets some decent parts in other series', I hadn't seen him since his turn in Robocop.

That episode was a bit

The show certainly has gone down hill compared to the first few series.
Though they do manage to do a over-blown daft story line (you can't beat them) every so often.

Maybe it's time to let the ER rest in peace?

    Q. Where was chuck?

Y'know the flight nurse who was on the roof.

You don't see him come down with rocket and he's not on the roof with the doctor n nurse, yet he gets a piece of shrapnel.

I had taped ER and I watched the scene over and can't figure it out

I'll keep an eye out for that on the E4 series that I'm watching.

For such a daft story it was done well.

    I enjoyed it.

I have to say when I heard it was going to happen i was  but now that I have seen it i was plesently surprise.

I assume that Paul McCrane wanted to leave the series. Good way to go.
    This country

I was refering to the fact that the original poster didn't highlight that he was going to post a spoiler, I know some people are really weird about having films/TV spoiled for them.

Thanks for ruining the series for me, a$$hole.

BTW there are plenty of disabled doctors around, don't be so narrow minded.

not our fault the UK are behind in the ole ER series. Advice: don't read a thread on an irish web board entitled "Who say ER last night?". And if it was a case of you didn't know we were ahead of you.. well now you know :)

You haven't seen the adds on C4 AND E4?

Oh I like the Elavator Music "We're Free Falling ....." lol

    1. I thought the title of the post "Who saw ER last night.." would indicate potential spoilers in the post. I tried not to mention exactly what happened and assumed anyone who didn't want to be spoiled would take the risk of viewing the post - my apologies.

    2. I was not being narrow minded. I was refering to the fact that bad luck seems to follow the staff of County General in this fictional TV show - again apologies, asthis may have not been clear. I do not question the abilities of any person who is disabled.

Yeah, he kinda just appeared. I couldn't see him in the scene where the helicopter crashed into the roof and the other nurse got hit.
It was a good episode, I couldn't help but smile at the look on Romanos face right at the end for him! It's a pity he's gone, he was absolutely brilliant!

I had the same problem, i couldn't work out where he came from and how he managed to get a patient. Where did he come from?????? At least im not hte only one pondering this!!!!!!

The scene probaly got cut after filming which happens a lot but i think if it did they should have left it in to clear it up.

Even though the Adds on E4 AND C4 have already spoiled it on you ........ and this tread.
Chuck goes to get on the Helicopter and tells the Private nurse that she has to get off because he is going up.

We don't see him get into to the helicopter.

And we dont see him until after the crash when explains to Sherry Springfeild (Sorry don't know her name in the series) that the Private Nurse wouldn't let him go with the patient. (Thus he is left on the roof)

    And that is what happened.....

    Okay not sure how to do spoilers so;
Elmo, he's not on the roof with bend it like beckham chick and the nurse when the nurse gets hit, and he's not on the helipad when the helicopter goes nuts cause, well he'd be dead.

    So to summerise.

He's not on the roof with the other two

It doesn't look like he went down with Romano

And he was hit by shrapnel.

    WTF?

MOD EDIT: Spoilers added (To add spoilers, see the TV Board Charter).
