Was watching Best TV Moments of 2003 and as Jonathan Ross pointed out Soaps have had a name change to Popular Drama.

    So emmm why oh why.

Also noticed that the Bill was a Popular Drama emmmm I thought it was just another soap.

I JUST HATE THESE LONG RUNNING DRAGGED OUT DRAMAS.

The viewing figures suggest you are in the minority.

I suppose that Popular Drama sounds better than Soap.

The Bill for most of its 20 odd years was a straightfoward cops and robbers show with single plot stories that were resolved within one episode, its only in the last 3-4 years its changed as characters suddenly developed lives outside the job and they all started sleeping with each other. I wish they'd get back to proper policing myself.

    Mike.

How many police died in that station in the last year? Surely time for an enquiry :D
