I modified my shell32.dll file and i can't replace it. I've disabled the Windows File Protection, and tried replacing it in Safe Mode.

    Any Ideas?

[edit] Forgot to say I'm on XP Professional.

How about booting frm the CD and taking the Repair Windows option?

Extract the shell32.dl_ file to shell32.dll using the expand command in a command window.

Boot into safemode, and then drop shell32.dll into your %systemroot%\system32 folder.

Since you have SFC turned off, it should be ok to drop it in.
