I have it for the weekend to get a bit of editing done, it's connected up via my firewire and Windows XP just won't let me use it.

It recognises it as a piece of AV hardware but won't install any drivers for it. My lecturer assured me that they got no disc with it and that Windows set it up automatically. I've scoured the web and can't find any drivers...

Any help on how to get this up and running?

    I'm on a poxy deadline...

Cant offer any help, but when I used a Sony DVCAM player/recorder windows regonised it and poped up a window asking if I wanted to record from the device.
