I dont know if I can sit through another 24 weeks of Jack having another bad day.

I watched series one because i didnt know what to expect....Series 2 because...well you just had to.

series 3? well i just dont know if i'm ready to commit to a serious tv relationship just yet.

what is a boy to do?

Ah go on - it's not all that intensive. I've seen the first eleven episodes and it's pretty easy to follow.

You want intensive? Watch "The Wire". That blows all other shows out of the water in terms of demanding attention from the viewer and some commitment.

I'm not female :) Although even so, I couldn't help but notice the "bounce" factor everytime that she ran...

I've seen the first 10 or so episodes of 24 too.. and I stopped watching it now..

Season 1 was good, Season 2 was even better... and Season 3 suxx (my opinion anyways).

Im not sure what to expect from season 3, are they just dragging out an initial good idea to cash in ?

Season 1 was great, kinda disjointed though - seemed to be about to finish then suddenly more bad guys turned up, but i guess thats down to only half the first series being recorded until it did so well they decided to record the second half.

Season 2 wasnt as good, in my opinion. It just didnt seem to keep my attention as much as the first one.It also kept to the exact same plot twists, which is just laziness on the writers part. Also what was all that about, in the last episode, where they posioned the president ?? Is it mentioned in season 3 ?

If season 3 is gonna be like 1 and 2 in plot structure with just a different story woven around, then I dont think it will be great - still probably better that much of the stuff on TV now a days.

As for having to devote you life to keeping up with what going on, I wouldnt be worried about that. Since its being shown on Sky one this time around - bbc and rte will probably start showing it half way through sky's season, so you'll be able to catch up on whatever you missed then ;)

RTÉ are going to be showing it 2 days before Sky 1 :)

we will have 4 opportunities (5 if RTÉ repeat the episodes) to catch it each week. Sky will be showing it 3 times, twice on Sky 1 and once on Sky 1 Mix so no one who wants to watch it has an excuse to miss it, assuming they have Sky 1 of course

BBC aren't showing it this time around
