Not entirely sure if this is best place to post, feel free to move it. I want a camera. A small one that I can keep on me constantly. Phone's got me addicted to taking pictures but now I want one of some quality. I want a digital camera and I want one of some quality but seeing as I aint looking to go professional and I'm also on a budget of bout 150euros (less if possible, I wanna pick up some other stuff if possible). So basically, cheap, small, durable to an extent and capable. I want one that can take pictures of the night sky if possible, and one to take pictures of everyday stuff but won't get looked at weirdly. Anyone any ideas?

With size in mind, I'd say the Canon IXUS or Sony Cybershot. There are a load more around like the Casio one whos name I cant quite remember and a Kodak model who's name also escapes me at present. The Canon & Sony are well over your €150 budget I'd imagine but the Casio may be more reasonable.

look up www.komplett.ie (click digital cameras on the left column)

    the fuji q1 Q1 might suit...only € 101.37 INC VAT

and its got 2meg pixel resolution and 4x digital zoom
only downside is the internal memory which is small at 8MB (get about 7 shots) so my advice is to buy a 32 or 64 MB xd card with the remainder of your budget
btw...you wont beat these guys prices anywhere
    hope this helps

Fujifilm Q1 Digital is perfect for the newcomer to digital photography, or if you're looking for a digital camera to take everywhere with you. Featuring everything you'd want from an entry-level model, including a movie mode, the Q1 Digital offers both style and substance.

Its beauty is not just skin-deep; the 2 megapixel Q1 Digital offers a great deal of functionality. Features include 3 flash modes, QVGA movie mode and a TFT LCD screen for easy review and playback of your still images and movies. Its 8MB internal memory means you're ready to go straight out of the box, and if you want to carry on taking more shots, you can insert an xD-Picture Card for additional memory.

you must XD type cards...no others will work
its also available in different colours
for €100 lids you cant go wrong and its ultra portable so you can bring it with you

    Dimensions (WxDxH) 9.1 cm x 3.3 cm x 7.5 cm

    enjoy!!!
