    Man,

    I was on the supanet servers and sume ****er was playing for the whole game invisible!! Man, how crappy! Anyone else see this cheat about ?

    ive never seen it, but i bet it works by pretending to be "lagged" to the server,
    same way that modemers fly around the level after a spike
    is there a way to turn off client-side player prediction in quake3??
    not item pickup prediction

    Last I heard it is a game bug. The person who was invisible probably didnt even know it and probably thought they had suddenly become l33t and were just killing everyone.

    i still bet you could make a cheat out of the way modemers fly around levels, same way as in quakeworld you could "fly" using a bot that didnt send proper updates to the server (not just timerefresh)
