Just wondering if anyone knows the upper limit for hard disks on the award 4.51PG BIOS? I'm just making a small web server for home use with this board and i just want to see what's the biggest drive i can get in?

Initial research says 32 GB is the limit but updates are available which may help.

Have you any more info on the board ?
    Memory type.
    AGP ?
    Processor?
    Chipset?
Or better still a model number. That Bios version was used on a lot of mobo's pre 2000.

Or depending on what OS you're using and what the drive is for... I've plugged 80Gb HDDs into crusty old computers whos BIOS wouldn't recognise them. Found that if it wasn't the primary drive I could just set the IDE channel in BIOS to 'none' and Win2k would find the drive and make it available to the OS... dead handy :)
