Anyone recommend an affordable (i.e dirt ****ing cheap) broadband router for use with a linux box?

    Thanks.

Are you looking for a router only i.e. ethernet in/out for use with a separate modem, or a modem/router combo?

Also, if it's just one linux box, you don't actually need a router - you could use an ADSL modem with Ethernet output.

Anything with Ethernet will work fine with Linux, after all a real router does not depend on the machine that is connected to it. It's not the router that connects to the machine it's the machine that connects to the router - there is a difference.
