I think the reviewer was slightly over-critical of FV. But apart from that it's not a bad analysis of the night.

Just got aroung to reading it now.
I definitely wouldn't call their riffs predictable, but I do agree that they could be labelled 'predictable chick rock'. That's not necessarily anything to do with the music, that's just what usually seems to happen 'cos they're an all-girl band.
