Heading to the States this weekend, and with the dollar being favourable, was planning on trying to pick up a Fuji S5000..

Can anyone recommend any of the retailer chains, where I may be able to pick this up cheap?

I'm going to check out CompUSA and CircuitCity, but if anyone knows of anymore, I'd appreciate it.. Unfortunately, I'll be in Utah, not NY, so the chains are probably my best bet...

I was in Provo, Utah back in 1998, interesting place! Very nice scenery!

I did a quick google for 'Fuji S5000 Utah' and found this site
lofty notion they seem to be based in Provo, which is about 100 Miles south of Salt Lake City, near Park City where the 2000 Winter Olympics were.

The price of the camera seems to be pretty competitive at US$359.99 (€287), although you'll have to add sales tax to this if you are buying it locally instead of online.

I bought my digital camera, Finepix S602Z, from buydig , they had the best price by far, their price for the S5000 is $US307 (€246), I had my brother's friend order it online in the US and bring it back last year.

That's exactly where I'm off to WezzyB... Definitely an interesting place...

Thanks for the link.. I'll check it out.. Hopefully they have a shop in Provo, and I'm sorted! €287 would be a cracking price for the camera...

    Thanks for the assistance!
