can't find 1/4 to 1/8 Gold plated audio adapter ANYWHERE !

    if you're just looking for the adapter you can get them in music instrument shops or take a trip down to pound city and buy a crappy pair of headphones and a lot of them come with the plugs :) (these wouldn't be gold plated :p)

    Are the sockets also gold plated ??

    If not won't the electrolytic and thermocouple voltages generated by temperature differences and moisture (sweat) not generate more noise than matching metals ??

    Some cheapo head sets have goldplated adaptors !
