Anyone know a good proxy server for a small network that will work for all tcp ports?

not sure if PROXY does ALL ports (isn't that NAT :) ) but you could use the port mapper .

Put in a linux gateway and use NAT, or else just turn on internet connection sharing in windows.

a socks proxy will proxy any tcp port, but it typically requires that your app has a socks client built in, like ie and icq does. (google "socks proxy" for a few links.)

Small network == little need for caching

    Use NAT (Network Address Translation)

Really easy to set up on a Linux box using iptables.. Quick googles on iptables, NAT and firewalls will tell you all you need to know..

I'd also recommend shorewall as an easy to set up gateway/router/firewall
