He is referring to Ultra64 for the Killer instinct games Giblet. Mazzingerz2003 I see you had this problem before in this thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=111313&highlight=killer+instinct

if you do what Logie said it should be fine for you.

Also if you could give us the exact runtime errors you are getting thx.

Yeah, i forgot i about writing a message about it, and does project 64 plays killer instinc and website should i get it? and by the way something about unziping your killer instinct roms on the KI folder IE, what is this??? The error shows as i start to run the game, it appears as microsoft c++ error, operation aborted!! so for some apparent reason wont run the game. I even tried the latest new version but no cigar, and like i said before i go the hd already downloaded and saved on a cd, so i was wonderin if i had to redownload them again to extract them on of my drives. It certainly takes too long to download this. If you know you make yours work, may be you can give me so help here, i will do my best to keep trying for now. Thanks!! And another thing what do you mean by c:/ ? is this one drives i have on my computer?

That Ultra HLE emulator was amazing back in the day. I remember downloading it when it came out and running Mario 64 at 1024x780 resolution on a p2 300mhz. Absolutely stunning stuff.

I think your problem is Windows ME tbh. Use windows update to patch that piece of crap up with the latest runtimes etc and then try again. Also make sure your getting the emulator from a trusted source ie here
As Ronan|Raven says posting the error messages might help solve the problem.

Hello again, do i have good news!!, ultra64 version 11 seems to work fine on my computer, found the right wrongs and hdd's finally, unfortunately for ultra64 305 did not work that good, it crashed when the game started playing, so ultra64 seems to be the right one, if any one of you had problems with 305, try version 11, make sure you get the right wrongs and hdd's, another thing k1 goes fast, however unless you got a fast computer, k2 at times runs slow other times fast!! but the main thing it does work!! the emulator64 version 11:) ;)

i just got version 3.11 working on my computer the other day. KI and KI2 both run fine and will feature in my new HTPC. :)

1 question tho. the firstday i had it working i got a little menu thing when the emulation started, which let me set difficulty and stuff like that. but i cant seem to find how i got into that again, can anyone help.

Hello there, i had the same similar problem when i first go the emulator, you need to be sure that the dipswitch is set on play mode not on test mode, otherwise you will find your self in the test menu over and over again, another thing, unless you have a fast running computer, K2 would run slow at times and other times fast depending on what level you are on. I have a few minor problems such as this on my computer, and you find also some minor problems, but other than that this emulator works;)
