Just spent the last hour going though a bunch of trailers for upcoming movies this year (http://www.apple.com/trailers) ...

Riddick: Could be good.. I'm not a big Vin Diesel fan, but the trailer looks promising. Sort of. Special effects look pretty bad though - shiny babylon 5-esque ships look awful.

Dawn of the Dead: Its only really a teaser rather than a full trailer, so its hard to get an idea of how its going to be. Definitely looks promising, though. Hopefully it'll be 18s and very gorey.

Hellboy: Looks like an SFX-fest... MIB meets XMen (or something). Looks fun.

Punisher: This isn't revenge. Its punishment. Yeah, right. Hero's family get killed, he wants revenge. Travolta hamming it up as the bad guy. Hard to tell if it'll be good.

Harry Potter/Azkaban: Best of the books, so I'm really looking forward to this one. Trailer isn't great, though...

Butterfly Effect: Love the idea behind this one, and its getting positive reviews from test screenings in the US, so it should be good.

Spiderman 2: Looks like more of the same stuff that was in Spiderman 1. Trailer looks great (even if it just mainly taken from one scene)

The Day After Tomorrow: I know nothing about this movie, but the trailer is very cool. Scary premise....

Jersey Girl: New Kevin Smith movie, so it has some merit (even though that plank Ben Affleck is in it). Trailer gives me toothache :) Its definitely not Clerks II!

Any other trailers there I should check out?

    - Dave.

Check out the trailer for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. It looks absolutely unreal. Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie whipping around the future in 1940s technology. Think Spitfires vs Giant Stompy Robots and you've pretty much got it.

The trailer looks amazing, but I can't imagine how anyone could sit through an entire movie of it.
