Where: The Metro then Downey's (Derry)
Type of Music: Mostly Hip/hop and RnB but they threw in some 90's music
Rating (out of five): 1/5 (metro) 3/5 (downey's - and only because I had fun there)
Comment: Was a good night because of who I was with but damn those bars suck. Everybody loves the Metro but I hate it because it's too ****ing cramped. Downey's is usually great, but only when i'm playing pool there! Nobody wanted to play though....

Was good afterwards - got back to cousins afterwards and watched double helping of "that 70's show" where donna wore a school uniform. Cousin made us all burgers n chips. Going out again tonight but hopefully a better bar.....

The Empire, Botanic Avenue - Great place for food at any time of the day and on weeknights you can usually find 3 bands playing for a few quid.

The Limelight - 2 quid to get into the Shag. Decent music, good drink. A little crowded though. So...

Katy Daly's - Next door to the Limelight. Kick arse.

They still doing Shag at the limelight? Classic....I remember going there every tuesday and friday :D

Last night I wandered out to Downey's, up to the pool works for a few games and a few jars. Needless to say I lost miserably as I kept potting the damn black. Big time whoops!

We got out of there around 12:30 but everywhere else seemed to be closed so we ended up downstairs in the river inn. Really empty, but MTV was on and I got addicted to those heated roasted beer nuts!!! NUTZ I H8 NUTZ! They taste like **** but they're so ****ing addictive.

Then went back to my cousins with a load of us and sat drinking the rest of the night and playing PS2 till the wee hours...
