    OMFG!
I was watching tv this morning and I was scared when I saw this advert, anyone else seen it?

He goes into Mc Donalds to test how clean it is and he has a white boxing glove that he rubs on the counter to make sure its clean.
He then chats to the "I'm lov'in it" McJob workers and they explain that everytime the buzzer goes off they have to wash there hands.

Have Mc Donalds got alot of food poising cases against them lately ?
    :p

I suspect they're just pushing the "hey we're cleaner than your local greasy spoon where the burger guy takes your money without wearing any gloves" thing. They've had the wash-your-hands clocks for some time. Buzzer might be new though.

Thing that gets me about Mc Donalds, I was in the Mc Donalds outlet on the Cork road down in Waterford and it makes me laugh when you see a person looking like there ready to slit there wrists but yet there wearing a "I'm Lov'in It" t-shirt :p
Funny in a evil kinda way...

On the note of fast food places, anyone read Fast Food Nation?

Yup and it nearly made me sick to read what big fast Food places get up to espically their suppliers like IBP ,now usually big companies are evil but IBP were Nazis in theier health, treatment of workers, working conditions, reading it was like reading about a death camp, really disturbing stuff. Excellent book though , id hightly recommend it to anyone. On a side note yup i saw that Mc donalds ad and yup i hate it too, Im from Waterford myself and when i take the odd visit into the Mc Donalds on the Cork road with their "im lovin it" shirts they look as if they wanted to kill themselves, i do feel pity for em,Espically that Asian girl at the counter that services ther some times, shes a really cutie , Id really like to get her phone number and.........um....ive said too much:D

Poor people, I feel that the fast food industry here will eventually mirror the US were minorities (Asians etc) will get the crap jobs working in McDonalds etc because they know they can pay them peanuts and give them crap hours etc

I worked part time in Mc D's when I was in school and they were REALLY tough about hygiene.

Having said that, the maccy D's in the blanchardstown centre is absolutely VILE....same goes for BK opposite it.....and what's with the 14 year old managers in there? Mc Donalds in blanchardstown are definitely breaching child labour laws, seriously!

Chris Eubank's voice and forehead scare me lol.

Anyway, the ad is such a pile of pooh. As if the workers are "lovin' it" - the irony is brilliant. It was actually pointed out on one of my fav websites (maddox.xmission.com) that I am loving it is an anagram of ailing vomit!

For anyone living in Dublin, though, I think the biggest copout has to be the McCafe on Grafton St. Hmmmmm yes very sophistimicated.
