    'Fuzzy Wuzzy was a woman?'

    Gene Wilder is brilliant in it. Especially in the scene where the alarm is going off and he is wandering around saying 'ssshhhhh'

    Another good bit was at the end when the deaf lad was trying to get the lad out of the helicopter and he was doing it,but he could'nt hear the cop's behind him

    That's a class film alright, nearly makes my sides split every time i see it:D Especially the part when they're walking down the street and the deaf guy is stomping his feet (i forget why) !

    He did Stir Crazy with Richard Pryor, as well as the little known Silver Streak. If you ever see it anywhere please tell me. I don't think it is available on DVD. Funniest scene is where Pryor is trying to get Wiler to act like a Black person. He puts boot polish on his face and gives him a ghetto blaster, shows him how to walk, etc. Hilarious!!

    Utter classic.

    Best part of the film for me, was on the train when Pyror just burst out "WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M BLACK!?" and then "DOES DAD KNOW!?"
    I was in pain!

    I think that's on RTE this week... I remember seeing a film in the listings with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder that I didn't recognise...

    I'm sorry to say it but this film SUCKS. Kevin Spacey surely rues the day he signed up to star in this turd. The bit where Pryor pretends to be a doctor and espouses on the benefits of shagging would make Roy 'Fat' Brown cry. The only entertaining bit is the sight of Joan Severance's mighty rack... what a woman!

    Bloody hell yeah - I saw him on Will and Grace on Thursday night, he looks like a shrivelled prune! That whole episode stank of 'a last hurrah' for wilder, though it did have its moments.

    In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if we're all talking about his death in a few weeks/months time. Looks like he's near it.

    From memory I think that Silver Streak has been on tv a lot over the years. Especially on RTE I think. I remember not bothering to watch it at the weekend because I'd seen it too many times. It's fairly stupid but somehow still very watchable, like early Chevy Chase movies.

    im not surprised he looks like s**t he was fairly put through the wringer in the past 10 years. he has problems dealing with stress and such and then his wife who he was madly in love with died, cancer i think.

    i loved this film when i first saw it, got it on DVD then and watched it again and wasn't impressed...

    still, you all have to admit that this will always remain a classic;
