Cutting up mp3s

I need a good freeware tool to cut up a long mp3 (90mins or so) into many seperate mp3s. I've been doing this forever with Cool Edit 2000 but i've done it so many times and it's such a pain in the arse that i can't stand to use ce2k any more for it. I know there are mp3splitters out there but they're all bloody well shareware - well what i've found are anyways - and have half of the functionality removed.

I need something to take input of times at which to insert cuts in a mp3 and then split the mp3 up into different mp3s depending on where these cuts are placed.

audacity will do the job with aplomb, it's a freeware audioeditor with a huge amount of flexibility, including mp3 editing.
