What is the best cable to use for connecting a PC or a laptop to an amplifier?

At the moment I'm using a 2RCA to standard headphone jack - there must be a better way?

Unless you have an optical out on your laptop (and in on your amp) thats pretty much the best way.. just make sure your not connecting it to phono-in on the amplifier.

    Thanks.
Guess I need a new laptop as it doesn't have optical out :(
