I'm heading to Brussels for a 8 days the week after next, but was just wondering, anyone got any reccomendations for things to see and do in Brussels. I'm probably going to get a train to Amsterdam for a weekend, but I've been there 4 other times so don't need any tip for Amsterdam!
Was also thinking of getting a train to see some other cities in Belguim, any reccomendations?
There 4 of us going, all in our 20's so any pubs/clubs/etc you could reccomend would be appricated too.

I was shocked when I went to Brussels, I went over there a few months ago for a techno festival, so we were in Ghent, but after it we went to shardenwa(sp) south brussels, the country is amazing with their buildings, there is a tourist shop in the middle of the square buy a book there, it costs 2 euro or something. but is intresting to see how old the buildings are and amazing. now I went there for the tecno and drugs, but we had to kill a few days there and were amazed by it.
Take a trip to the club Fuse if you like big name'd DJ's and some women in there are fablous.
Its quite expensive in the square, look for places to eat/drink in the square.(v simular to ireland) don't let the people in the restaurant's call you english!
tell them you're Irish, we got pissed off by them calling us english and having great english food to get us to come in.

Southern Belgium(from Brussels) has great scenery and some of the most dreary post 20th century architecture.
Northern Belgium has great architecture and a good tram system in the cities.

Historic buildings are preserved greatly throughout the country, plenty of snaps to take for your camera. :)

Belgian weather is weird like our own, in summer it can get very hot but expect monsoon type rain as well :)
