Y the big stats difference

Whats the deal with the stats in the game being wrong. I was watching the UTd-Newcastle game on sun and started messing wit the interactive stuff. i was looking at the players stats and saw that Giggs has played around 560 games for utd, but wen i started my new game of cm 03/04 a few mins ago hes only played 382 . I'm pretty sure he hasnt played 180-odd games so far this season so y the difference
I dont expect evry players stats in the game to be spot on but i wud ave thought giggs would have been 1 of the major 1's and its hardly a big thing to get the stats right, im sure the utd web site has them .

In CM0304 there are two counters for appearances.
The First one counts all games the player plays in during his career after the game starts and the second counts all league games the player plays in. This second counter is used for Most Appearances for a Club in the Club History.
Maybe the stats (include just league games start of game) . It is possible for Giggs to play 170+ cup games, if you include Champions leagues games along with league cup and FA Cup over his career.
Anyone else have an idea to whats going on

yeah it seems to be only counting league games in the history RVN just scored "his 50th goal for Man Utd" in the 2nd game of the season and the last 2 seasons r showing 23 & 25 goals each. Its a bit of a ridiculous way to do things seeing as as far as the game is concerned hes only scored 50 goals so hell probably never break any records seeing as he has had 50 goals taken away from him. im sure this is the same with all clubs so the only people who r likely to break existing records r people who start their careers after a new game starts

just came accross another issue, in the 3rd game of my 1st season in 03/04 and giggs is playing for wales V serbis in the euro champ qualifiers on the same day im playing wolves in the premiership, i thought these issues were sorted out (im running the latest patch.


Plus at the start, in irelands euro champ group the have only lost 1 game and are top of the group after 3 wins and 1 defeat, bit of a glaring error

You cant possibly expect them to have ireland coming 3rd in the group and losing in a playoff to the swiss by the same score.

If that was the case then they would have set out a few of the games in prem to be the same straight away which would take away any njoyment playing a preset game

the code is obviously there as a means that if you were to take over ireland you could takw them tru the group

but the point is that if u took over ireland at the start of the season ud b in the same position as brian kerr in that u would have 2 defeats a a win r so, whats wrong with that

Well if you think thats rediculous - in my game (03/04) Ireland got to the final of the Euro Championships 04 (having beaten england along the way) and lost to France 3-1. Unfortunately i can't remember any of the other teams they beat along the way.
