Any1 know about the dell cooling system.

It can cool a p4 3.2Ghz and is almost silent. The only noise is the PSU.

Any1 got any information on similar setups for ATX cases or what actually fits over their CPUs

Dell use a large finned heat sink ducted to the exchaust fan on the back, nothing special really.

They do make quite systems dho.

    Thanks joePC.......

Dell use large fans that can shift a lot more air that 80mm fans at low RPM's .... and they use plastic ducting to direct that air across the CPU ...very efficent cooling ... and cheap too (how much would 10,000 pieces of plastic ducting cost each? and a alright heatsink to go with it? .... and how much does thermal compound cost by the liter?)
