Buying Laptop(PC world or Dell)

    Dads, getting me it, hes not soo keen on Dell since he bought his last year for 2500, muppet.
    anyway so budget is around 1500, need something that would run games quite well or decently, looking for around 500 DDR ram + 64 mb graphics cards.
    I think friends bought one as above for around 2 grand but that was with 5 year insurance (+500 euro).
    Now ive checked recent posts but not much help, so is Pc world ne good ? i`l to go check ofcourse but would you pick it over dell ?

    and laptop batterys only last 3-4 hours ? god thats ****.

    3-4 hours isn't actually all that bad. A lot of laptops with fast P4's will only last 1.5-2 hours. If you want long battery life then look for one with a Pentium M. More expensive, but won't eat up your battery nearly as fast.
