John Doe's return to Net2

Just wanted to point out that Net2 also returned John Doe to their schedule last weekend, following Smallville season 3 on Saturday afternoons. There has been a thread about Smallville's crappy return, but nobody mentioned JD, so I thought there might be someone out there who watched it before...
Net2 started off with John Doe Mondays @ 8pm for roughly 4 episodes in September/October-ish last year, then dropped it.
Luckily scifi on sky digital started it the same day @ the same time, so Net2's terrible treatment of the show wasn't AS bad as it could've been(for me), however I'm sure many people who don't have scifi aren't aware that Net2 have returned it to the schedule.
Having watched nearly all of the series(there's only one season, it was cancelled by FOX in spring 2003) I'd have to say that it shaped up nicely and had decent enough stand-alone episodes as well as important arc ones.
Anyways, for anyone that hasn't seen the show before, Net2 have shown so little of it so far that it's not too late to hop on board...
"The series is about the life of John Doe, a mysterious man who rises from the primordial waters of an isolated island, possessing knowledge of literally everything in the world, yet having no memory of who -- or even what -- he is. Doe quickly finds his way to Seattle, where he befriends the police and uses his special gift to help them solve "impossible" crimes each week, while continuing his unending quest to uncover who he is and where he came from."

As a side note to the whole John Doe/Smallville Saturday lunchtime slot, I have to wonder, are Net2 even bothering to cut either show for the early airtime? Both air( or aired in JD's case) at 9pm in the US, and some episodes of JD are quite bloody & certainly not really suitable for kids to be watching. Same goes for Smallville, while not as graphic as JD, there is definitely aspects that aren't best suited for a lunchtime audience. C4 had to cut it all the time to show it at 6pm in UK, not that Net2 really ever cuts ANYTHING they show, regardless of timeslot, but I can imagine some scenes in John Doe causing nightmares in some quarters
    :p;)
I'm more in favour of the late-nite slots for shows if Net2 insist on showing them outside primetime hours, that way, there's no concern over editing content, and more often than not, I'm still awake hehe

ps- Net2 started the final season of Felicity(only 2 years late) @ a Sunday lunchtime slot for any fans...

Oh I didn't realise "John Doe" was back too - thanks for informing me. It looked half decent - shame it got cancelled. I'll let my VCR check it out in its new time slot and watch it later on in the day when I wake up :D
