Anyone know a good place to buy a refurbished laptop? I've got about €500 to spend. Doesn't need to be fancy, just something for e-mail & word.

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't ebay a bit dodgy. I've heard a lot of rip off stories recently. I was ideally looking to buy a refurbished laptop directly from the manufacturer. Is this possible?

For refurb you want to write this address to be added to the mailing list!!

Cheers Nitrox, I'll drop them a line! Do JarvisTech deal with different manufacturers or specialize in just one. I've have found a place in Dublin, Back from the Future, that seem to deal in IBM refurbs.
