I duno is this the right place to be posting :) but its for my business im setting up, basically want a good competitivly priced printing place to print full colour on one side(customised image) and just 2 colour on the reverse side... i know i can shop around online but the waiting is what kills me :)

So does anyone get business cards done like that and where and how much and how long is the wait etc :)
    Thanks

I'll second that question ... i'm not even worried about full colour either. Just one-sided, one-colour (possibly two) cards on good paper.

We use Snap Printing who seem alright, but despite the fact that I've three boxes of cards none have a phone number or web address. But they are one of the larger outfits

Last time I got a quote from Snap I ran out of the office without looking back. I wanted to get around 200 cards done; one sided with two colours on off-white card. I think at the time I was quoted about €350. Granted this probably was wrong but I didn't stick around to find out.

I have a brochure at home from a company in Dublin that do labels & so on. I'll post their details if I can find them. They may or may not to cards, I'm ordering some plastic business card sticker type things off them.

I suppose at the end of the day you get what you pay for. In the end I got 250 cards, two colour black & what was supposed to be gold but came out brownish on white card for €70 and they are cack. The printer completely screwed up my design; changed fonts and so on.

    Lads,
Don't rush into anything yet. A friend got cards done in US online. Cost about $40 and he got them in 2 weeks. They have a range of standard design options.
Friend is on leave until next week though so I'll post web details then.

Also a good tip is to google and type in something like, free wallpapers 3d, and you can find some amazing looking wall papers which you can scale down ... and put some sort of effect on it, fade or something like that, so that the copyright is invalid (just incase) and put that on your business card, amazing looking, really stand out.

Has anyone ever got the metal business cards, expensive but really like the look of them but would want to know has anyone ever had any bad storys or good storys with them?
