    im am currently trying to design a website using dreamweaver 4, im very new to all this, but im looking for some templates, im design this for a band, just a template with the links created and stuff, and then all i will have to do is insert images and text, , im doing this for free, cause its my band, and i dont want to go into to much detail with this. any help much appreciated.

    Dreamweaver is the easy, been awhile since ive used ver4, i`ll knock some templates together when i see ya next week.

    I dont know any resources for templates or stuff as its easy enough to throw one together although other replies feel free to link to sites n stuff

    You lucky to have Dream Weaver to create layout, I only have Notepad to clean the source code after slice the layout in Image Ready. Anyway, here're some good good templates provider sites:

    There are loads of site that provide free templates, (I used to do that on my personal site as well) the best thing is search "free templates" at google.com.

    i stuck with it yesterday, and i did up somthing half decent, actually im quite impressed. we have the domain name, can anyone provide me with the details of what hosters are good and what not............

    also i want a simple message board, but i shudnt worry about that until i have the site hosted, am i correct, that way i can test correctly.

    PHPBB is a free message board system. Some hosts will install this forum for you as part of their hosting package.

    vBulletin is used by Boards.ie and you have to purchase a licence to use it.
