Amazon are charging 80 yoyo's for the paperback edition.

Is it worth it or no?

Try to get it second hand, and if possible only buy the volume you need ie. vol3 for quantum, vol2 for monkey jizz etc. I bought vol 3 a couple of years ago in hoggis figgis and from what i remember €80 doesn't sound bad! but remember they are about 30 years old now and most modern physics texts use them as a pretext, there are better books out there!

my lecturers have recommended the feymann lectures but ive never used them.i always used regular books as they have much better illustrations and examples and the conventions are much more like those you will use in a lecture.

the feynmann lectures are something that you will probably buy later in life. The man had a great gift for explaining things, but they are not the most ideal textbooks. E80 sounds about right for them however.
