Smoking ban ?

    Hey,

    so who knows when this supposed 'smoking-ban' is gonna take affect? It's funny after all the hype and talk that went on in the later half of 2003, seems to have all been forgotten?? Ironically the original planned date passed 7 days ago and not a word of it appeared in the press... When is it going to happen?

    It won't come in for a month or two. These kinds of laws have to be first passed through Brussels and that takes about 6 months, but the government left it too late, so the ban'll only come in in Feburary or so.

    Don't worry it'll come.

    Well thats good to hear, cause the talk yesterday in the Uni cafe was that it was going to take until May for it to happen!! :dunno:
