Hi folks, Just wondering does anyone know can get an open source office package for MAC OS 9. Tried openoffice.org but it only seems to be for OS X. Thanks in advance.

I thought that the open source of the office package was due to Mac now using Unix in OSX. Therefore it wouldn't exist for OS9.

I could be wrong though.

There is a few open source office type proggies out there for OS 9, but thry all seem to be standalone e.g. A word editor, A excel reader / creator etc.. i had to try to find one a few years ago for a mate till he got Office installed, One of em was based on word perfect thats all I remember.

I thought Apple works came with macs as standard or is that only an extra (my old ibook it was standard on the restore CD)??
