    Was gonna mention them here myself. They are quite good. D'arcys one in particular when he flicks yer mans ear and yer man grumbles under his breath is very amusing.

    Ray D'acrys bit of that ad was funny. Can't remember what Ian Dempseys and Matt Coopers were like, Rays stuck in my mind.

    Didnt like the Matt Cooper one, the Ian Dempsey is pretty good:

    "Gettin the boot, huh??"

    But the Darcy one is brilliant.....

    I haven't seen the ads at all, but I think The Ray D'Arcy show is the worst radio show in the country, its a pain to listen to.

    Those ads have been banned from the English Channels.

    It is in the Independent today. I would provide a link, but you need to log into the indo's website.

    They have been banned from Sky 1, News, C4 and E4 I think. Ya know the channels that show Irish ads now at break times.

    They are being shown in Ireland though, as this Thread has already stated.

    The Advertising Review body in England has found that the Darcy ad in particular offends.

    The end of Darcys is stupid,
    The Matt Cooper one is very good.

    Don't see why they are being banned?:confused:

    very good ads. cant understand why they would be banned and only about 3 and a half megs each to download :)

    not all of them are banned though as i saw the Ian Dempsey one on E4 earlier on today

    its just the Darcy one, the British board find it tasteless.....
    Not really IMO... but I dont make the rules up...

    Also the ads shown on RTE have to be ammended as your not allowed give the day or times for shows on that station (i guess cos it would be advertising for the competition)
