€199 for new number or upgrade pack, €70 credit with new number: €80-120 with upgrade.

why is it 80 - 120 with upgrade?? why not one or the other, im asking cos i got a phone on speakeasy where i was supposed to get 10e credit a month for x amount of months, and after i stopped using the sim after a bit i think they stopped sending me out the last few months credit i was due.

does this happen much on o2?

    thanks

€80 - This is the minimum free call credit with any Speakeasy upgrade pack, 20 on registration and 60 over 6 months (10 per month)

€120 - If you've spent over 100 in top-ups in the past 3 months you can get this. 20 on registration, 100 over 10 months (10 per month). You check for eligibility here.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think you've to top up by €20 to get your extra €10 for that month.

Where is it €199? Down here in Cork I've only seen it for €269 in O2 shops.

It's €199 on Speakeasy in Dublin City Centre - 3G, O2 shops, etc...

Maybe €269 is the sim-free price, or they've upped the prices...

My Sister bought one a few weeks ago on upgrade with O2 in Carphone Warehouse and it was €260 or €269 ...

... oh, and its constantly crashing and freezing ...

cheapest i can find it for on o2 is bout €260. Problem is solved tho cos i was just going to buy it on whatever network was cheapest and unlock it for vodafone. Anyway, templecom on the quays is selling it on vodafone for €199.

Faltermyer, is your sister on O2 bill-pay? Maybe the prices have been raised/dropped; a week ago it was €199 on Speakeasy upgrade.

    It's also €199 in 3G Gaiety/Henry St.

    Nope, shes Pre-pay.

If thats true, she wont be a happy camper!

got this phone yesterday and prices have gone up (apparantly it was only a chrstmas special offer)

i got it on vodafone with new RTG sim and it cost me 240 (it was 210 before christmas), i think 02 have the same deal for 260. Madness!

tis a deadly phone though, dunno why i decided to stop using nokia phones at all, now that im back with em im never getting another brand.

The 3G store in Cork has them for €199. Might buy one next week.

How fragile are they? The case looks like it could get scratched real easily.

yeah very prone to scratching gotta take care not to put it in same pocket with keys or coins, im sure though after bout 2 weeks the novelty will wear off though and it will end up geting ****ed bout the place hehe.

upside though is that since the cover is fairly flimsy im sure you will be able to pick up replacememnt covers cheaply in a few more weeks in shops.

They do, although I make phones look old very quickly by keep them in the same pocket as keys. The only thing is the case is see-through, so scratches are really only noticeable from a certain angle, and a decent or very coloured theme should hide them easily.

    Thanks.

What about the FM radio headset, does that come with the phone?
And how much is the PC data cable?

Fingers crossed 3G don't put them up to €259 next week.

The phone comes with a hand-free kit, so it's radio on one earphone. Great radio though, I use it all the time.

Headed down to the 3G store in Cork hoping to pick up one and they are all sold out. My luck as always. :p

Salesperson wasn't sure when they would be back or at what price.
