Is it my imagination or did I remeber it being passed into law or at least made a requirement for Publicans to CLEARLY display ALL drink prices???

I've yet to see a SINGLE bar/pub/niteclub in Dublin that does....

As for the price of alcohol in your off license - I spoke to a friend in Diageo who has told me that the prices for alcholoic drinks from an offlicense in Ireland are caused by our "beloved" government..... & greedy off licences

I originally asked him why a bottle of say Jameson in Ireland is nearly twice a bottle in the bloody Canaries & they're both made here. He said it's because of the taxes the government stick on & the profits the gits who run off-licenses....

And another thing - how the feck can Tesco's Clearwater petrol station sell petrol cheaper than everyone else??? Petrol companies & large companies who run service statiosn are always telling us it's government taxes - then how do they now propose to explain how the feck Tesco are selling it so cheap?????

I think it's time EVERYONE who votes gets their finger out & makes sure each & every bastard looking for our vote come next election has to work for it. When they come to your door - let them have it. They only EVER coming knocking when they want that vote..... God help ANY politician who comes to my door.... & as for McCreevy, next time I see him he's in for an ear bashing cos he likes to knock on doors round my way......

Just as a final whinge - I RECENTLY bought a Brand New Ibanez Electric Guitar which our ONLY Irish Store who supply Ibanez (Musician Inc) sell for well over €2300 for less than €1900 DELIVERED from Germany in less than 3 days.

Never mind the fact I recently bought 5 Kodak 16MB MMC cards for my nGage for like a little over €20 total brand new out of New York inc. delviery, & the fact I bought my nGage plus 3 games - SIM FREE for a little under €200 out of the USA - I mean thi country is nuts!!!

I think it's time Irish people remove the comfort pole from the arses, & start giving these gits who run our country hell - BUY NOTHING IN IRELAND - BUY FROM ABROAD.....I'm all for support Irish Companies - but if they don't stop ripping us off - to hell with them........

I BUY NOTHING HERE - NOTHING. I buy my clothes, shoes, runners, Cd's, books, computer parts, games, & stuff outside Ireland via mail order & the rest. Heck - I got a brand new pair of Air Jordans delivered from the USA for €83 the other day - go into Champion Sports & see if you can get them for that - you won't!

Time for less talk folks - time to man up, open your gobs, & let the bastards have it & to also start letting your wallet do the talking - buy from abroad.....
