Is it just me or does anyone else think that TV3 allowing sky advertise shows for January on TV3 is a wee bit stupid?

Are TV3 not going for the same market. (I know they have Coro, Emmer and Heatbeat, but they still like to think there for the 15 to 35 year olds)

I cann't see TV3 advertising the fact that Nip and Tuk will air on TG4 in Feburary.

Not really, Sky One have been advertising on UK Terrestrial channels for a few years now.

I'm sure they would if TG4 paid them the same as Sky are :)

yeah, but its one thing for an irish (small-time) channel to give sky air time, but i also saw the nip/tuck ad on c4.....

and yes, it is a money thing, Id say the only channel that tv3 wouldnt advertise for would be RTE, although they did have ads for the RTE Guide... if thats anything.

I'm fairly sure the fact that TV3 is on Sky Digital would have something to do with it...

I have no problem with sky digi adverts but for programmes on sky one stupid they may as well just make the adds for them.
