Pat Shorts 30 Minute Programme won't go down as a classic.

It was more sad than funny in my openion.

its not great but will appeal to some people, albeit a fairly niche market. It was worth the effort though!

I just think he's much better with Kenny.
I seen him last year in Sligo and tbh they were all re-hashed jokes that the Unbelievables had on their 3 videos.

He's funny all the same though.

It was a very weak programme. Not funny at all really...

    His DVD was worse :(

Yeah, the DVD was pretty bad. Kenny and Short are best together, their best show was D'Video when their stuff was still fresh and halarious.

D'telly :) And your right it was hilarious then. But then d'mother or whatever, ruined it all :( and the latest dvd was the biggest waste of money...

The main feture was only an hour, then there was a documentary...

    Don't buy it

Yeah his DVD is rubbish. Some of it isn't even funny.

He badly needs to patch up his differences with Jon Kenny and put the D'Unbelievables back together again.

I thought the dvd was class myself, first time seeing him though

I don't think there are differences. They just went their separate ways.
Kennys doin theatre now as far as I know.

Not LOL funny but enjoyable all the same.

Forced my Sister into watching it she wanted to watch another repeat of friends on N2.

But RTE are taking it easy with this one and I think are just waiting for a reaction before they comission a full series.

    Who produced it?

I think D'Video was their best effort, then A Hell of a Do and D'Telly. D'Mother was terrible, painful sitting through it. I was hoping that Pat's new DVD would be of the quality of D'Video but instead it's just as bad as D'Mother. Pity. :dunno:

I have heard rumours of a big falling out over money and legal action being taken. I hope that I am wrong as only the lawyers will win at the end of the day.

The only reason they stopped performing was because Jon Kenny developed cancer and had to take a couple of years off for treatment/recovery.

this programme both sucked and blowed it was pathetic.all the jokes were on before and you have also heard every drunken clown/young smart arse try to be funny and repeat it word for word out loud....this my friends is what d'unbelievables should be jailed for

    Harsh!

Anyway I am sure you'll be glad to here with 634,000 viewers it got into the top ten irish tv programmes of the year.

but i think that is more about the lack of TV comedy then quality IMO.
