Quake Finger?

    Hi Guys,

    Lads I wanna set up a finger service for quakers, sorta a .plan for players and the like. It'd be great crack. Any ideas how to set this up? Can I easily do it on my IOL account or do I need some super cgi unix yaddy yaddy to do it ?

    everyone would have to have thier .plan files date readable then you have a script which keeps a list of all .plan files to check and regularly checks to see if they're updated or not and acts accordingly.
    perl would do the trick and IOL should allow the execution of cgi scripts if they're running any sort of decent operation smile.gif
