Well, the new year has crept up on me much faster than expected; I really should have posted this the day after Christmas, but better late than never :)

As I mentioned in another post recently, I'm looking to hire someone to work on a cross-platform Win32/MacOS application. The work will begin as soon as possible and will probably continue until March/April but I hesitate to make any guarantees right now beyond January. It is 'part-time', but the work could range anywhere from twenty to fourty hours depending on circumstances.

Necessary skills: strong C/C++ or strong C and some other OO language (in this case, the person should be willing and ready to learn C++ :))

Useful skills: QuickTime, Video for Windows, multi-threading, databases/SQL queries, Win32 API, Carbon API, image manipulation algorithms

Hmm ... I thought there would be a few more replies :) But then again I guess it's still holidays. I should point out that the 'Useful Skills' section is really only that -- I don't expect to find a ton of people who actually have experience using QuickTime or Mac Carbon coding.

If interested, please send me a PM so I can give you an email address to mail your resume to; also, anyone that does do an interview should expect some technical (including coding) questions.

Just a quick update; I was unable to schedule all the interviews before Monday the 5th, so since I will be doing them until Wednesday or Thursday there is still time to send in your CV.
