Onboard Lan

    i never used the on board lan of my mother board but i require it now to connect to my modded xbox, but the dared thing isnt goning, its not finding it as a plug and play device andit should have been installed, but it aint in device manager. what else shud i try?

    What's the make and model of your motherboard?

    Make sure it is enabled in the BIOS would be the first step. On boot up you should get a message to press a key (could be F1/F2,DEL or other key) to enter system setup/BIOS. Go in there and have a look around for Onboard lan and see if it is enabled.

    got it, i disabled it in the bios when i got the mudaboard.
