5 dvds is very few? I wonder what you would consider a decent amount to be.

    Anyway.

    Braveheart Special Edition

Did very poorly this year, all I got was Bo Selecta 2.
I bought the brother 7 Sonny Chiba movies over 2 discs, so I'll watch them eventually.

Just bought a few more DVDs in the sales ('tis alright value - I know their play.com prices. 'Bout the same as I'd have paid there): The Straight Story, Chicago: The Musical, Mulholland Drive, and Eraserhead. Yeah, Lynch much?

Hmmm since when do you like Woody Allen? Thats weird

Like Annie Hall, not Woody Allen. Similar to my feelings for Quentin Tarantino.

Also, i believe we've had this conversation before circa spring 2003- when u were still a student.

Speaking of Mr. Allen, I searched the HMV sale (which is crap) and all in vain none of said films were to be found.
Did pick up Witchfinder General for 7.99 though :)

All good, steal them all. Arsenic and old lace is one of my favourites. Was it the common or garden Director's Cut or the Special Edition of Paradiso?

My family somehow got the notion that I wasn't reading enough (I've a waiting queue of books two feet high to be honest so I've no idea where they got the idea). Slim pickings on the movie front, except for a copy of Apocalypse Now and Subway. Next year when I've an ideal present (this year it was that Muppets 4dvd box set that they have only in HMV and overpriced at 50 notes at that) I'll put a sticker on my head to announce it (GF got me a dvd player to replace the complicated PC setup so I couldn't pick on her)
