Activating a Sky plus box

I've just bought a Sky plus box on ebay and I'm going to replace my Uk sub box with it. Now my orginal box is 2 years old so well out of contract. So not connect to phone line .I presume that I shall have to ring Sky to get the plus box activated and the card married? By they by I have my phone calls and internet through UTVinernet and when I ring sky the never question where I am. I also can ring UK no. which you normal can't ring from eircom such as Popidol and voting for Ireland in the Eurovision

yup just call to sort out the wedding of your card and the sky plus box.
Features once turned on will work grand without the phoneline which is not an issue

Yeah, you'll have to ring Sky & you won't have to have the phone line in.

Thanks guys for the advice. I get a bit paranoid when I ring them. Though I think its down to who you speak to or if a supervisor is around.
