I bought mine from amazon.de, but it's not subtitled. Best bet is to email amazon, they're usually prompt in their reply.

Cant help you there ixoy i thought it was a great feel-good movie. Great Characters, extremely funny and a good soundtrack. Have the DVD, but i will probably return to the IFI to see it.

I've seen the movie twice, once in Berlin soon after it was released and again here when i moved back. I think it's a great movie and it seemed to have struck a cord with many of the Germans in the Kino. I think it made a good approach at detailing the events around 1989/90, while putting a funny side to it. As with a lot of American movies the love theme often comes across as being stupidly tacky but I think in this movie it was cleverly interwoven. I give it a big thumbs up :) !!!

What a superb film... I was in germany when the wall came down and I got to meet allot of east german people ahd it was like meeting another culture altogether.

This film was a wonderfully sweet way of playing these to worlds off against each other...

With all the re-plagarised blx comming out of the states it's great to see an original piece of film produced in Europe.

    The Duke : ))
